What shapes the price

Mostly, it's the scope of work.

A legals only paperwork signing is a very different job to a fully personalised ceremony in front of your nearest and dearest.

Guest numbers don't change the price unless you're over 300 guests and need external AV production.

Travel can change things too: flights, accommodation, and work visas for weddings overseas.

No hidden costs. What we agree on is what you pay.

Weekday and legals only weddings

Planning a full wedding? You're in the right place.

No date in mind yet and just want the legal bits without the fuss? Head over to Weekday Weds, or get in touch and we'll talk it through.

How booking works

  1. We agree on a price.

  2. I send you a contract to sign.

  3. You pay 15% up front to lock in your date.

  4. Pay the rest however suits you, as long as it's done by the day before your wedding.

Travel

Travel outside Melbourne is usually quick to sort out. For travel booked more than 12 months ahead, we'll put together a separate agreement.

Pricing questions

Quick answers. Anything else, just ask.

How much do you cost?

Celebrant from $1,750, DJ from $2,350 and MC from $900. No two weddings are the same, so after we meet I'll send you a tailored proposal with a running sheet, some ideas you might not have considered, and pricing.

Is there a discount for booking more than one service?

Yes. A discount applies when you book more than one. See the celebrant, DJ and MC package.

Do guest numbers change the price?

Not unless you're over 300 guests and need external AV production.

How does the deposit work?

We agree on a price, I send you a contract, and you pay 15% up front to lock in your date. Pay the rest however suits you, as long as it's done by the day before your wedding.

Will you match a cheaper quote?

No. The cheapest price isn't always the best value. I take real pride in what I do and I won't compromise on quality.

Are there hidden costs?

No. What we agree on is what you pay. Legal paperwork and the Births, Deaths and Marriages fees are included in the celebrant fee.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel outside Melbourne is usually quick to sort out. Flights, accommodation and work visas for overseas weddings are quoted separately.

Is your date still free?

Tell me a little about your plans and I'll come back to you with availability and my info pack. Rather talk? Call 0407 877 232.
